Making finding on the appealed substantial abatement ordered for 1355 PAYNE AVENUE in Council File RLH RR 20-34.  (Amend to grant 90 days until August 12, 2021)

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 20-34 on October 28, 2020 which granted 180 days to repair the structure, correct all of the deficiencies listed in the Order to Abate Nuisance Building and the Code Compliance Report at 1355 Payne Avenue; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on April 27, 2021 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions not abated and will review plans and financing for completing the work pending May 11, 2021 Legislative Hearing to develop a recommendation for Council consideration;

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends granting 90 days to August 12, 2021 to rehabilitate or remove the property; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council stays action on its findings pending recommendation of the legislative hearing officer.
