Title

Making finding on the appealed nuisance abatement ordered for 412 GOODRICH AVENUE in Council File RLH RR 17-19.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 17-19 on June 19, 2019 which granted an extension for 180 days to abate the nuisance conditions at 412 Goodrich Avenue; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on December 10, 2019 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not abated, but owner has completed more than 50% of the project according to building inspection staff review and updated work plan is approved;

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends continuing the performance deposit and grant an additional 180 days based on the documented progress with the rehabilitation and the updated work plan; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding and recommendation of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is not abated and grants an additional 180 days to compleye the rehabilitation or removal of the property.
