WHEREAS, in the matter of appeal of Barbara Ransom, Ree Parkside LLC, to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice-Complaint Inspection at 250 FIFTH STREET EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation is to 1) grant an extension to January 1, 2020 for the installation of the replacement washer/dryer units; 2) accept the appellant's appliance replacement plan which uses LG Laundry Model DLEC888W (or another similar appliance which is intended to be vented internally, per its manufacturer's specifications), noting the units shall be installed under permit; and 3) require the appellant provide Fire Inspection staff the specific information to be provided to tenants explaining the maintenance of these appliances within 6 months; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
