Making finding on the appealed substantial abatement ordered for 1179 SEVENTH STREET EAST in Council File RLH RR 21-40.  (Amend to grant 180 days)

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 21-40 on April 28, 2021 which granted 180 days to repair the structure, correct all of the deficiencies listed in the Order to Abate Nuisance Building and the Code Compliance Report at 1179 Seventh Street East; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on October 26, 2021 and November 23, 2021 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not abated but will continue the $5000 performance deposit and grant an additional extension for 180 days to June 14, 2022 for completion of the rehabilitation and will review updated plans and financing for completing the work pending June 14, 2022 Legislative Hearing to develop a recommendation for Council consideration forthcoming; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is granted for an additional 180 days forthcoming, pending November 23, 2021 hearing.
