Review Request of Michael Aderinkomi, Amazing Homes Ecclesia LLC, for property at 1179 SEVENTH STREET EAST for review of a potential stay of demolition.

WHEREAS, on August 19, 2020, the Saint Paul City Council ordered the razing and removal of the structure located at 1179 Seventh Street East within 15 days of the passage and adoption of Resolution RLH RR 19-23; and
WHEREAS, Amazing Homes Ecclesia LLC, represented by Michael Aderinkomi, is the fee title owner of this property for which the Apostolic Church Minnesota Assemby, represented by Pastor Kenneth Udoibok, has contract for deed; and
WHEREAS, Michael Aderinkomi has come forward and indicated he would now like to proceed to cancel the contract for deed and provide a plan for the property for consideration by the City Council;
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that under certain conditions a stay of demolition may be in the community’s interest; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby refers this matter to Legislative Hearing on September 8, 2020 in order that this request for a stay may be reviewed and a recommendation developed for Council consideration October 7, 2020.
