Making finding on the appealed substantial abatement ordered for 1023 JESSIE STREET in Council File RLH RR 20-33.  (Amend to grant additional 180 days)

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 20-33 on October 21, 2020 which granted 180 days to repair the structure, correct all of the deficiencies listed in the Order to Abate Nuisance Building and the Code Compliance Report at 1023 Jessie Street; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on April 27, 2021 and May 11, 2021 and June 15, 2021 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions not abated and will review plans and financing for completing the work pending June 15 May 11, 2021 Legislative Hearing to develop a recommendation for Council consideration;

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends granting an additional 180 days until December 15, 2021 as updated work plan and financial were submitted, reviewed and approved; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council stays action on its findings that the nuisance condition is not abated but will grant an additional 180 days to complete the nuisance abatement.
