Purpose of Appeal: Fire inspector did not schedule a time and date for the inspection. His letter said he woudl be inspecting the building on or after October 13, 2016. On the morning of October 13, 2016, he at 7:47 am he called Mitchell Imherson . He didn't answer. He left a messag for him to call to verfy the exact date and time that he was coming. He never called back. Virgil Thomas (building inspector) had gven temporary occupancy. On November 1, Virgil Thomas inspected the property. He said "the building passed the inspection." He also said he can't file it because of the vacant building status. On Nov. 2 it was brought to his attention there is an open boiler permit (mechanical). Christy the inspector said everything was fine. It was his understanding the permit was closed. That was months ago. What can he do to get a certificate of occupancy? All of the work is completed.
