Approving adverse action against the Auto Repair Garage license held by Afterhours Mobile Service, Inc., d/b/a Twin City Fleet Repair at 290 Larch Street.

WHEREAS, the Auto Repair Garage license held by Afterhours Mobile Service, Inc. d/b/a Twin City Fleet Repair (License ID #20070003991) for the premises located at 290 Larch Street in Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Violation (“Notice”) sent March 14, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the Notice stated on January 25, 2018, an inspector from the Department of Safety and Inspections came to the licensed premises for a second re-inspection; and
WHEREAS, during the course of the inspection, the inspector found the licensee was still in violation of license conditions #2, #5 and #15 that had been documented during two previous inspections on August 7, 2017 and October 16, 2017; and
WHEREAS, Department of Safety and Inspections records show they have been working with the licensee since 2011 regarding license condition violations; and
WHEREAS, due to the licensee’s history of failure to bring the licensed premises into compliance with his license conditions and approved site plan, the licensing office recommended an upward departure to a $1,000.00 matrix penalty; and
WHEREAS, the licensee responded to the Notice of Violation with a request for a public hearing which was scheduled on May 2, 2018; so therefore be it
RESOLVED, Afterhours Mobile Service, Inc. d/b/a Twin City Fleet Repair (License ID #20070003991) is hereby ordered to pay a $1,000.00 seven hundred and fifty dollar ($750.00) matrix penalty for failure to bring the licensed premises into compliance with the license conditions and approved site plan.
Payment of such penalty shall be made within thirty (30) days of the date of the adoption of this resolution.
