Purpose of Appeal: We are beginning building renovation shortly and because we are receiving city funding and state bonding for our project, the City of Saint Paul is going to own the building in about a month. I spoke with the City Clerk's office this morning, and they said to file for an appeal while they checked into the matter. Claudia Klinkhammer is our PED contact.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Tyler Olsen, Executive Director, on behalf of Victoria Theater Arts Center, to a Vacant Building Registration Fee at 825 UNIVERSITY AVENUE WEST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal, noting permits are allowed to be pulled; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
