Second Making finding on the appealed substantial abatement ordered for 655 JESSAMINE AVENUE EAST in Council File RLH RR 22-5.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 22-5 on March 2, 2022 which granted 180 days to repair the structure, correct all of the deficiencies listed in the Order to Abate Nuisance Building and the Code Compliance Report at 655 Jessamine Avenue East; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on September 13, 2022 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions forthcoming not abated; however, the work was estimated by the Senior Building Inspector to be 75% complete;

 

WHEREAS,the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the Council both continue the existing $5,000 performance deposit posted with the Department of Safety and Inspections and grant an additional 180 days for completion of the project, given the condition of providing as an acceptable workplan was provided and found acceptable; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding and recommendation of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is forthcoming.
