Purpose of Appeal:  Making a plea. I own the house. I can't lose it. There is not much to be fixed: couple doors, 5 windows, a toilet tank, plus a few holes to be patched, cleaned, and painted.

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  May 12 and 14 respectively

Inspector/Key Staff:  Matt Dornfeld

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  VB Category 2 SFD opened on 5/11/21 per condemnation by CE.  Condemnation was appealed and appeal was denied and ordered vacated by May 10, 2021 under RLH VO 21-12 adopted on 5/5/21.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Christina Ramirez to a Vacant Building Registration Notice and Summary Abatement Order at 854 EUCLID STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal on the vacant building registration; grant an extension to June 14, 2021 on the summary abatement order; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
