Title

Appeal of Paul Olson to a Revocation of Fire Certificate of Occupancy and Order to Vacate at 771 SIXTH STREET EAST.

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, August 4, 2020, Teleconference call between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  Front room in this triplex has been used as a bedroom and found to be acceptable by inspections since 1980's.  Now windows/egress (on this main floor unit w/exterior door next to bedroom) are considered not good enough.  Historic Society won't allow windows to be replaced or changed.  Literally, nothing I can do here.  Kick out tenants?  They are a family and need 2 bedrooms due to child.

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  June 26, 2020

Inspector/Key Staff:  Efrayn Franquiz

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Leanna Shaff gave staff permission to accept this late appeal.  Staff was told to title as a revocation and order to vacate.
