Appeal of Reggie A. Phoenix to a Correction Notice-Reinspection Complaint at 401 MINNEHAHA AVENUE EAST.
Date/Time of 1st LH: Tuesday, June 9, 2020, Teleconference call between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Purpose of Appeal: Items 3, 7, 8, 9, 10 - To whom it may concern: Tenant has informed me that during reinspection on May 11, she informed inspector James Thomas that Items 3, 7, 8, 9, and 10 had all been fixed to satisfaction. Mr. Thomas did not explore each room in which items were listed as deficient during his visit and did what tenant described as a "cursory glance" only at the kitchen. Mr. Thomas's report dated May 11, 2020 does not note any of the fixes and instead lists items from the previous report dated April 16, 2020. We ask that the inspection be updated to include the corrected items listed in the notice.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Reggie A. Phoenix to a Correction Notice-Reinspection Complaint at 401 Minnehaha Avenue East, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to July 7, 2020 for all items except Item 11 (windows), which is granted to September 1, 2020; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
