Amending Council File No. RLH AR 19-140 to delete the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during September 13, 2018 to June 20, 2019 at 1860 HAWTHORNE AVENUE EAST. (File No. VB2003, Assessment No. 208802)

 

Body

WHEREAS on January 22, 2020, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. AR 19-140 to approve the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during September 13, 2018 to June 20, 2019. (File No. VB2003, Assessment No. 208802); and

 

WHEREAS, the property at 1860 Hawthorne Avenue East, being described as: Hazel Park Division 5 to St. Paul Lot 10 Blk 8, with the property identification number 23-29-22-33-0080 was assessed an amount of $2284; and

 

WHEREAS, Department of Safety & Inspections staff recommends deleting the vacant building fee because owner has been occupying the property prior to the renewal of the vacant building date;

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the reduction of $2284, plus any accrued interests, be deleted.  Council File No. RLH AR 19-140 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
