Appeal of Alan Conard to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 1738 SHERWOOD AVENUE.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, January 28, 2020, 2:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  The home is not and never was vacant.  I am the owner and I live there and I have homesteaded the property.  James Thomas has a copy of my homestead paperwork from August of last year.  I feel he is harrssing me without any reason.  I talked to Rich Singerhouse as well, and he agrees with me. (paraphrased)

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Alan Conard to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 1738 SHERWOOD AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to May 1, 2020 for property to have Certificate of Occupancy reinstated or be in property owner's name (not LLC) as owner occupant and grant the appeal to be released from the Vacant Building Program; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
