Purpose of Appeal: We just bought 2147 & 2161, have a big list of repairs & its absolutely impossible for us to tackle all the items on the Fire Inspection Correction Notice in 1 month. Some of these items we have planned already & spring of 2020 they will get done but 1 month is not realistic especially as winter approaches.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Tory Christensen, University Buildings LLC, to a Fire Certificate Correction Notice at 2147 UNIVERSITY AVENUE WEST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to July 1, 2019 for exterior items 1-5 and October 31, 2019 for Items 5-9, including inspection of previously uninspected areas of the building; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
