Approving adverse action against the Auto Repair Garage license held by Afterhours Mobile Service, Inc., d/b/a Twin City Fleet Repair at 290 Larch Street.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Auto Repair Garage license held by Afterhours Mobile Service, Inc. d/b/a Twin City Fleet Repair (License ID# 20070003991) for the premises located at 290 Larch Street in Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Violation sent December 3, 2018; and

 

WHEREAS, the Notice stated that during a complaint-based inspection of the licensed premises on October 23, 2018, an inspector from the Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI) documented with photographs three (3) license condition violations; and

 

WHEREAS, this was the second (2nd) violation within the past twelve (12) months so pursuant to Saint Paul Legislative Code § 310.05 (m) (1), the licensing office recommended a $1,000.00 matrix penalty; and

 

WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Violation pay the $1,000.00 matrix penalty or request a public or administrative hearing; and

 

WHEREAS, the Notice of Violation stated that if the licensee failed to pay the $1,000.00 matrix penalty or request a public or administrative hearing by December 13, 2018, that the matter would be placed on the January 2, 2019 Council Consent Agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, Afterhours Mobile Service, Inc. d/b/a Twin City Fleet Repair (License ID# 20070003991) for the premises located at 290 Larch Street is hereby ordered to pay a matrix penalty of $1,000.00 for three (3) license condition violations documented by a DSI Inspector during a complaint-based inspection of the licensed premises on October 23, 2018.

 

Payment of such penalty shall be made within thirty (30) days of the date of the adoption of this resolution.
