WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Mike Bertrand to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy With Deficiencies at 935 FOREST STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the following extensions: 1) October 15, 2018 for Items 27 & 30 pertaining to furnaces and water heaters; 2) November 16, 2018 for Items 1, 2, 3, 23, 24 & 26 pertaining to unit 2 and the common hallway and 3) January 18, 2019 for the balance of the orders; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council allow for the issuance of a Fire Certificate of Occupancy for Units 1 and 2; noting that Units 3 and 4 cannot be occupied until repairs are completed and units are certified for occupancy; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
