Purpose of Appeal: I was here in front of Marcia in Dec. and was under the impression a new code officer would be reinspecting my home, so I waited on obtaining funding to find out new list of things to be repaired and was taken off the waiting list. I just didn't understand what happened at the last hearing. I have been accepted by [unreadable] Twin Cities, but they have a waiting list. I just need the time to reapply with Neighborhood Works. They sent me a letter stating I was still eligible.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Nancy Barnes to a Notice of Condemnation as Unfit for Human Habitation and Order to Vacate at 1159 PASCAL STREET NORTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant an extension to 1) August 1, 2016 for replacement of the dryer vent and removal of the unsafe deck; and 2) December 31, 2016 for the balance of the corrections required; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
