Authorizing the Police Department to amend the 2016 Budget for the Sex Trafficking Investigations grant awarded and accepted (RES 16-124).
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department (SPPD) was awarded the Sex Trafficking Investigations and Training 2016 from the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety (RES 16-124); and
WHEREAS, the 2016 financing and spending plan needs to be amended for these funds; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $63,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2016 budget and recommends the changes as attached; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves these changes to the 2016 budget.
