WHEREAS on January 7, 2015, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH AR 14-71, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Excessive Use of Inspection services billed May 22 to June 20, 2014 at 648 ROBERT STREET SOUTH. (File No. J1502E, Assessment No. 158301); and
WHEREAS, the property at 648 Robert Street South, being described as: Woodbury And Casesaddition T E 43 6/10 Ft Of W 193 6/10 Ft Of S 43 Ft Of N 47 1/3 Ft Of Lot 2 Also Subj To St The Fol W 193 6/10 Ft Of N 4 1/3 Ft Of Lot 2 And Of S 57 2/3 Ft Of Lot 1 Blk 11, with the property identification number 08-28-22-31-0109 was assessed an amount of $155.00; and
WHEREAS, the owner, Jonathan Kuch, came into the office stating that he never received a gold card to appeal the assessment. Upon further review of the file by the inspector, he stated that this particular fee was for expired tabs on a vehicle. The fee previously canceled was for a washer in his driveway which Parks found to be done by the owner. Owner did not return a gold card on the vehicle issue, but tabs were put on the vehicle; therefore, staff recommends deleting the assessment; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed the file and concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the reduction of $155, plus any accrued interests, be deleted. Council File No. RLH AR 14-74 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
