WHEREAS, the Board of Ramsey County Commissioners has referred a repurchase application for property at 646 Aurora Avenue to the City of Saint Paul for a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has reviewed police, building, and property maintenance code violations within the past five years; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has not determined if the property at 646 Aurora Avenue has been a municipal probem had several enforcement concerns in the past, however, the City Council believes these have been more than adequately addressed by 1) the family's actions to remove the problem person from ownership and occupancy of the property; 2) the family's actions to consolidate ownership and occupancy into one person who has been a responsible neighborhood member for many years; and 3) the Council notes that property has represented no problems in more recent history, Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul has no recommendation recommends to the Board of Ramsey County Commissioners that for they approve the repurchase application of the property at 646 Aurora Avenue; And, Be It Finally
RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is requested to forward a certified copy of this Council resolution to the Ramsey County Tax Forfeited Land Office, 90 West Plato Blvd for final processing.
