Purpose of Appeal: We purchased the building November 30, 2019 and inherited this situation from Starlight Mgmt. The sink is operational. Our intention is to remodel the second unit in one year's time, after the current lease is up. At that time, we will be able to open up the walls and make the plumbing updates necessary. We are in the process of engaging an architect to draw up the plans to add a third unit to the property. Because of these unprecedented circumstances, making any plans for these changes has been prohibited.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Melissa and Francois Kiemde to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice - Complaint Inspection at 1279 RANDOLPH AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to September 1, 2020 to come into compliance; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
