Making finding on the appealed substantial abatement ordered for 575 PARK STREET in Council File RLH RR 21-26.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 21-26 on May 26, 2021 which granted 180 days to repair the structure, correct all of the deficiencies listed in the Order to Abate Nuisance Building and the Code Compliance Report at 575 Park Street; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on November 23, 2021 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions forthcoming, pending approval of updated schedule by December 13; and
WHEREAS, on December 22, 2022, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed updated schedule submitted by appellant and found it acceptable; therefore, she will recommend continuing the $5,000 performance deposit and grant an additional 180 days for completion of the rehabilitation and will review updated plans and financing for completing the work if not done in 180 days at the June 28, 2022 Legislative Hearing to develop a recommendation for Council consideration; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is not abated and stays enforcement of RLH RR 21-26 for 180 days forthcoming.
