Purpose of Appeal: Neighbor received variance to build a 8' privacy fence on our mutual lot line based on terraine conditions. Built the fence in area without any terraine concerns. I would like the fence shortened to less than or equal to 7' or moved "down the hill" as she applied for.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Thomas Youngren to a letter dated June 6, 2018 from the Department of Safety and Inspections regarding issuance of a fence permit with a 1 foot variance at 60 ORME COURT 2355 EDGCUMBE ROAD, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
