Purpose of Appeal: We are requesting 2 things: 1st an extension to complete repairs. Many items have been completed however not all issues have been addressed. 2nd we are requesting an appeal on a condemned Bedroom. The bedroom windows exit on the enclosed porch. This bedroom has existed in this manner for. We tried several times to contact listed on the correction notice 651-266-8989 with no return calls on answers this delayed us over 10 days.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Phil and Keia Isaacson, PBK Properties LLC, to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy with Deficiencies at 47-49 COOK AVENUE WEST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to July 20, 2020 for compliance with front bedroom orders by ceasing use as sleeping room or removing screens, windows, and door from the enclosed porch and grant to September 1, 2020 for remaining items; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
