Making finding on the appealed substantial abatement ordered for 521 YORK AVENUE in Council File RLH RR 21-10.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 21-10 on April 28, 2021 which granted 180 days to repair the structure, correct all of the deficiencies listed in the Order to Abate Nuisance Building and the Code Compliance Report at 521 York Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on October 26 and November 9, 2021, to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not abated but will continue the $5000 performance deposit and grant an additional extension for 180 days for completion of the rehabilitation and will review updated plans and financing for completing the work pending June 14, 2022 Legislative Hearing to develop a recommendation for Council consideration; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council stays action on its findings pending recommendation of the legislative hearing officer from the June 14, 2022 Legislative Hearing.
