Title

Ratifying the assessment for the City’s cost of providing Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during April to June 2022. (File No. CG2203A1, Assessment No. 220109)

Body

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 22-1358 accepted the Report of Completion for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during April to June 2022; and

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has considered objections of affected property owners and developed recommendations for the City Council with respect to their assessments; and

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on November 16, 2022 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 443.29 and Admin. Code § 60.03, the assessments set forth in the said assessment roll are, in all respects, hereby ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:

RLH TA 22-400:  1621 Arcade Street;

RLH TA 22-357:  1233 Arkwright Street;

RLH TA 22-342:  1933 Berkeley Avenue;

RLH TA 22-348:  205 George Street West;

RLH TA 22-383:  783 Hague Avenue;

RLH TA 22-373:  775 Hawthorne Avenue East

RLH TA 22-350:  690 Hoyt Avenue East;

RLH TA 22-343:  473 Howell Street North;

RLH TA 22-376:  75 Maryland Avenue East;

RLH TA 22-379:  679 Maryland Avenue East;

RLH TA 22-387:  461 Osceola Avenue South;

RLH TA 22-346:  750 Stewart Avenue;

RLH TA 22-408:  1315 Westminster Street; and be it further

RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments.
