Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, January 4, 2022, teleconference between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  I bought the property not knowing it was a Cat 2 and I am ready to do the repairs. I didn't know the previous owner did work with no permits. I have paid for the code compliance inspection and I need more time to find the licensed people to do the needed repairs.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Brian Galvin to a Vacant Building Registration Fee at 1503 VAN BUREN AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee for 90 days to March 13, 2022; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
