Appeal of Sharon Bruestle to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 472 CASE AVENUE.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, December 21, 2021, teleconference between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  If possible, we would like the tenant in the upper unit to be able to stay.  The issues are with the lower unit.

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  December 9, 2021

Inspector/Key Staff:  Mitchell Imbertson

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Appellant had an order dated 11/8/21.  Staff found a more recent order dated 12/9/21.

 

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Sharon Bruestle to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 472 CASE AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal for Unit 2 to be released from the Vacant Building Program and Unit 1 to be made a Cat 1 Vacant Building for 90 days, with a 90 day waiver to March 9, 2022 to have Fire Certificate of Occupancy reinstated or is reclassified to a Category 2; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
