Amending Council File No.  RLH TA 21-356 to delete the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration fees billed during August 28, 2020 to March 17, 2021 at 1285 BEECHWOOD PLACE. (File No. VB2111, Assessment No. 218817)

 

Body

WHEREAS on September 22, 2021, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH TA 21-356 to ratify the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration fees billed during August 28, 2020 to March 17, 2021. (File No. VB2111, Assessment No. 218817); and

 

WHEREAS, the property at 1285 Beechwood Place, being described as: Gilbert’s Greenway Court Lots 23 and Lot 24 Blk 1, with the property identification number 15-28-23-13-0026 was assessed an amount of $2,284; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends deleting the assessment as the property has been removed from the Vacant Building Program; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the reduction of $2,284, plus any accrued interests, be deleted and the Offices of Financial Services will abate this reduction from the 2020-2021 Property Taxes Statement.
