Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, November 9, 2021, teleconference between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  Expecting to have final inspection the 1st week of November.  Due to Covid, it has been difficult getting construction trades to complete the code compliance.

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  VB Cat 2 Single Family opened 10/18/19 referred by CE Suon for condemnation due to gross unsanitary conditions.

 

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of James Brinker to a Vacant Building Registration Fee Warning Letter at 1739 YORK AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee for 90 days until January 18, 2022; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
