Purpose of Appeal: I have a contract for sewer line to be replaced. Contractor hit water line, damaged my property, and then left with no communication. I have partial use of sewer line and have a company coming to open the line on Tuesday 7:00 a.m. I can't hire a new contractor when I have a legally binding contract with Robert Brandtjen. I will send contract and letter via e-mail.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Salina Amey to a Notice of Condemnation as Unfit for Human Habitation and Order to Vacate at 283 Curtice Street East, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal on the condemnation and order to vacate; the property cannot be reoccupied effective August 27, 2021 until either the sewer line is repaired under permit or property owner submits video evidence for Public Works review and approval that the line is not in failure; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter and extends the vacate date to September 8, 2021.
