AMENDED 7/27/21

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 20-52 on January 13, 2021 which granted 180 days to repair the structure, correct all of the deficiencies listed in the Order to Abate Nuisance Building and the Code Compliance Report at 1013 Jameson Street; and

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on July 13, 2021 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not abated and reviewed an updated work plan, including bid(s) and evidence of updated financing for completing the work pending July 27, 2021 Legislative Hearing to develop a recommendation for Council consideration;

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council find that the nuisance was not abated, that the Council continue the $5,000 performance deposit and grant until December 1, 2021 fro completion of rehabilitation, as updated work plan and financial were submitted, reviewed and approved;

RESOLVED, that at the conclusion of the 180-day grant of time, the Council will receive a report from the Legislative Hearing Officer with findings on the status of the nuisance abatement; And Be It Further

RESOLVED, that a Legislative Hearing is scheduled for December 14, 2021 at which owners, interested parties and Department of Safety and Inspection staff will present information on the current building conditions and progress toward abatement of the dangerous/nuisance conditions and the resulting findings will be presented to the City Council at a public hearing on December 22, 2021 for its consideration; And, Be It Further
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the findings and recommendation of the Legislative hearing Officer pending recommendation of the legislative hearing officer...
