Purpose of Appeal: My landlord would not let inspector in when we were working.  We did not deny anybody.  We were working at the time of inspection.  We were not home.

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  April 27, 2021

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  No photos were available. / Per LHO, RN instructed appellants to contact House Calls immediately, and they were provided with a House Calls brochure. Inspector sent staff the May 11 condemnation as appellants did not have it yet.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Thomas and Pamela Bleise to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy with Deficiencies (which includes condemnation) at 2245 HILLSDALE AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal; nothing the property is in compliance and certificate has been issued; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
