Making finding on the appealed nuisance abatement ordered for 2233 ENERGY PARK DRIVE in Council File RLH SAO 20-24.  (continued from May 26)

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH SAO 20-24 on November 4, 2020 which granted an extension to November 20, 2020 to abate the nuisance conditions at 2233 Energy Park Drive; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on November 24, 2020 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not abated; and

 

WHEREAS, on January 13, 2021 at the City Council Public Hearing, Council amended RLH SAO 20-24 to grant an extension to May 1, 2021 for compliance by removing the boulders or have permitted approval by Public Works; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on May 4, 2021 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not abated;

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends granting to June 30, 2021 for compliance with the September 3, 2020 Summary Abatement Order; and now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer and therefore authorizes the Department of Safety and Inspections to proceed with this nuisance abatement after June 30, 2021.
