Approving a Cooperative Construction Agreement with MnDOT regarding construction and maintenance of a noise wall along the south side of I-94 between Prior Avenue and Fairview Avenue.

WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is proposing to construct a noise wall along the south side of I-94 between Prior Avenue and Fairview Avenue; and
WHEREAS, MnDOT has requested that the City enter into an agreement to perform certain maintenance activities along and adjacent to the noise wall, including vegetation control and graffiti abatement; and
WHEREAS, MNDOT has requested that the City provide cost participation of 10% of the cost to construct the noise wall; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED that the City of Saint Paul enter into MnDOT Agreement No. 1044841 with the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation to provide for payment by the City to the State of the City's share of the costs of the noise wall construction under State Project No. 6282-190.
