WHEREAS on January 8, 2020, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. AR 19-104 and RLH TA 19-695 to approve the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during July 6, 2018 to April 24, 2019. (File No. VB2001, Assessment No. 208800); and
WHEREAS, the property at 133 Seventh Street East, being described as: Roberts & Randall’s Addition to St. Paul Ex Sely 26 Ft for 8th St Part of Lot 10 SWLY of the Old Robert and Randall and Ex SD ST Lots 8 and Lot 9 blk 15, with the property identification number 31-29-22-43-0060 was assessed an amount of $2284; and
WHEREAS, Office of Financial Services staff sent in a request to the Legislative Hearing Officer to delete the assessment as it assessed in error (the Department of Safety and Inspections requested its removal from the assessment roll, but the request was inadvertently missed and therefore, the fee was assessed in error);
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the reduction of $2284, plus any accrued interests, be deleted. Council File Nos. RLH AR 19-104 and RLH TA 19-695 are hereby amended to reflect this change.
