Body

AMENDED 7/15/20

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 20-173 accepted the Report of Completion for Collection of Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during the time period of July 4 to October 21,2019; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has considered objections of affected property owners and developed recommendations for the City Council with respect to their assessments; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on April 8, 2020 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 429 of Minnesota State Statutes and Chapter 60 of the Saint Paul Administrative Code, the assessment is hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendment which will be considered separately:

 

RLH TA 20-229:  847 Huson Road (Legislative Hearing April 7, 2020);

RLH TA 20-162:  1918 Ivy Avenue;

RLH TA 20-364:  912 York Avenue;

RLH TA 20-XXX:  575 McKight Road South - delete for separate consideration to be referred back to Legislative Hearing on August 4, 2020 at 9 a.m.;

RLH TA 20-XXX:  1262 Minnehaha Avenue East - delete for separate consideration to be referred back to Legislative Hearing on August 4, 2020 at 9 a.m.; ; and be it further

 

RESOLVED, that the assessment be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments.
