Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $125,000 for a contribution received from the State of Minnesota to pay for training and equipment from the Fire Department Hazardous Materials team.
Body
WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has awarded a contribution of $125,000 to the Fire Department to pay for training and equipment for the Hazardous Materials response team; and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this contribution will be used to pay for training and equipment for the Hazardous Materials team; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the contribution received; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriations funds of $125,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2020 budget; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, that the $125,000 is available for appropriation in the 2020 budget, and said budget, as heretofore adopted by Council, is hereby amended as outlined in the attached financial analysis.
