Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount $900 for a contribution received from the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce for health and wellness equipment for firefighters at Fire Station 14.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce has awarded a contribution of $900.00 to the Saint Paul Fire Department for health and wellness equipment for Fire Station 14; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this contribution is for it to be used to pay for health and wellness equipment for firefighters; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the contribution received; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation of funds of $900.00 in excess of those estimated in the 2020 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the additions as specified in the attachment "Chamber of Commerce - Station 14 Financial Analysis $900" be made to the 2020 budget; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts this contribution of $900 from the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, extends its sincere appreciation to this organization, and approves the changes to the 2020 budget.
