Title

Appeal of Shahid Aziz to a Notice of Condemnation as Unfit for Human Habitation and Order to Vacate at 495 KENNY ROAD.

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, March 19, 2019, 11:00 a.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  I was taken by a contractor for $130,000.00.  I run a business out of the building, and throwing me out would force me to put 22 workers out of business.  All 22 limos are parked inside and are dispatched from upstairs. (paraphrased)

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  March 6, 2019

Inspector/Key Staff:  George Niemeyer

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  It's not clear to me if someone is living in the residential area of this mixed use building, which is condemned. I need to talk with staff Thurs. 3/7 as to specific conditions. The orders do not provide a specific vacate date and there's no photo of a placard. We need to address this, too, at that time. -MM
