Purpose of Appeal:  Need more time to remove items due to sick relative's accumulation.

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Will need Percucca for hearing. Talked to Brian Karpen and asked him to take a look to see if it's safe for appellant (niece of owner, Fannie Webb), or the cousins to enter the property to do clean-out of hoarded items. Talked to appellant to have her call Brian to get him in this week (12/17-12/21). Referred appellant to Lauren Lightner (House Calls Program) regarding hoarding and assessing Fannie Webb for potential services. Appellant instructed to NOT work in house until approved by City. -Moermond

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Gaynelle Buckland to a Correction Notice - Complaint Inspection (condemned) at 779 CARROLL AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
