Appeal of Joseph Oredola to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 87 ACKER STREET EAST.

Purpose of Appeal:  The building wasn't abandoned but this status came about through a bad tennant who failed to pay his water bill with some more items to be fixed.  The water bill has been paid and water is turned on.  We're working on other listed items while tennant has been evicted.

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Joseph Oredola to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 87 ACKER STREET EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee to April 1, 2019 to get Fire Certificate of Occupancy reinstated and be released from the Vacant Building Program; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
