Establishing the rates of pay for the new classifications of GIS Specialist I and GIS Specialist II in EG 02, Grades 030 and 034, respectively of EG 02, AFSCME Technical.

WHEREAS, new classifications of GIS Specialist I and II were created; and
WHEREAS, an organizational design study was conducted at the request of the Regional Water Services; and
WHEREAS, the result of the organizational design study instructs that the rates of pay for the new classifications of GIS Specialist I and GIS Specialist II be established at the rates set forth in Grades 030 and 034 respectively, of Employee Group 02, the AFSCME Technical Salary Schedule; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, pursuant to City Charter Sections 6.03.3 (5) and 12.01, that the rates of pay for the new classifications of GIS Specialist I and GIS Specialist II be established at the rates set forth in Grades 030 and 034 respectively, of Employee Group 02, the AFSCME Technical Salary Schedule. This resolution shall take effect and be in force on the first pay period following its passage and approval.
