Purpose of Appeal: Dwelling has connected room. They share the same doorway. Adding door is physically impossible other than removing roof line and chimney. This house was built in 1894. This was never a problem in the past.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Joseph Simmonds to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 949 CONWAY STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant 60 days for compliance; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
