WHEREAS on October 5, 2016, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH AR 16-64, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during January 4 to April 21, 2016 at 1154 Jessie Street. (File No. VB1615, Assessment No. 168822); and
WHEREAS, the property at 1154 Jessie Street, being described as: Beaupre Kellys Addition Subj To Alley Lots 8 And Lot 9 Blk 5, with the property identification number 29-29-22-21-0079 was assessed an amount of $1729.28; and
WHEREAS, Department of Safety and Inspections staff recommends deleting the assessment as it was assessed in error for not cancelling the fee properly;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the reduction of $2,240, plus any accrued interests, is deleted and the Offices of Financial Services will abate this reduction from the 2017 Property Taxes Statement. Council File No. RLH AR 16-64 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
