WHEREAS, the Pedal Car Driver application submitted by Aaron Mather Hauge (License ID# 20170002974) for the City of Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Deny License dated August 22, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the Notice stated that during a routine check of the applicant’s criminal history as part of the application process, it was discovered he was convicted on January 12, 2015 in Ramsey County of Misdemeanor Traffic-DWI-Operate Motor Vehicle Under Influence of Alcohol in violation of Minn. Stat. § 169.A.20.1(1); and
WHEREAS, the applicant was placed on probation for a period of one (1) year which was scheduled to expire January 22, 2016; and
WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Codes § 374.5(d) (5) the licensing office recommended license denial; and
WHEREAS, the applicant did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Deny License to request either a public or administrative hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Deny License stated that if the licensee failed to request either a public or administrative hearing by September 1, 2017, that the matter would be placed on the next available consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Pedal Car Driver application submitted by Aaron Mather Hauge (License ID# 20170002974) for the City of Saint Paul is hereby denied.
