Appeal of Irish Johnson to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 507 LEXINGTON PARKWAY NORTH.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, August 8, 2017, 1:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  According to attached, a renewal of fire C of O is needed.  I am appealing as the home is occupied currently by myself & or husband.  We are in the process of renovations on two homes & time is split between both.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Irish Johnson to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 507 LEXINGTON PARKWAY NORTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council:

 

1) an extension to July 1, 2018 to address the siding and trim (Item 2);

2) grant an extension to October 1, 2017 for the front entry stair handrail (Item 3);

3) grant an extension to July 1, 2018 to address the peeling paint on the siding and trim of the garage (Item 4);

4) grant an extension to July 1, 2018 to address the dampness, mold and mildew of the basement (Item 5);

5) grant the appeal on the dryer venting, as the owners stated they will be disconnect the dryer (6);

6) grant an extension to October 1, 2017 to address the crack/opening in the sewer line connection at the floor of the basement; and

7) note Fire Certificate of Occupancy staff have withdrawn Item 8 in the orders, pertaining to the smoke detector; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
