Purpose of Appeal: Due to age of parents, need additional time to formulate a plan to meet the requirements of the "Correction Notice" that I have just recently been made aware of.

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Joe Schmall to a Notice of Condemnation as Unfit for Human Habitation and Order to Vacate at 1440 ALBERT STREET NORTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to September 29, 2017 for the property to come into compliance with the orders, on the condition that egress routes, including hallways, stairs and paths to windows are cleared of obstructions; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
